LVT Digital to film transparencies or negatives are true photographic images at high resolution using traditional silver halide films exposed by RGB LEDs. We use the Kodak Digital Science LVT or 'Light Valve Technology' recorder, the best film recorder produced in the World.

We image onto most film formats - our price is based on a 10 x 8 inch or 5 x 4 inch film sheet, either Colour Fujichrome Provia, Colour Fuji Negative or Ilford FP4 Black and White negative, perfect for hand enlargements of digitally manipulated originals.

Imaging can be done from any digital input, Film Scans or Digital Camera files.

Resolution is extremely high - up to 3048 dpi.

Res 24 = 609.6 dpi = 77 mb

Res 30 = 762 dpi = 121 mb

Res 48 = 1219.2 dpi = 309 mb

Res 60 = 1524 dpi = 482 mb

Res 80 = 2032 dpi = 857 mb

Res 120 = 3048 dpi = 1.928 Gigabytes

We will select the right image Res mode to match your original image resolution. This avoids digital interpolation artifacts from 'up-scaling'. Res 120 mode has a 50% surcharge due to the very long time it takes to scan (over an hour).

Nested 10 x 8s are multiple images placed up on one 10 x 8 sheet of film. We can do this for you at no extra charge.

Images can be sent as is - no conversion charge.
